Ordered signature combo, cheese katsu, and chicken soboro and everything was very good. The katsu is so crispy on the outside and the meat is very soft and tender on the inside, and the signature combo came with tempura that tastes much better than what they got at Marugame with the crispy flaky exterior. The cheese in the cheese katsu was not too heavy and tasted great, and the amount of rice and salad given was generous. If I had to nitpick something, it would be a minor detail that the miso soup given on the side didn't have tofu and was not very flavorful. The wait time was not long on a Friday evening around 5, less than 30 min. Would order again!

I didn't realize this place has multiple locations but the more the better. It was a bit difficult to find; literally a hidden gem. We circled the parking lot twice to look for this place and I remember the instructions from the online ordering app said it was in the event center and voila! The Amazing in the name rings true. The food was amazing. I have had cheese katsu in a non-Japan/Korea country before but everywhere I went tend to make them with ground pork. Amazing Katsu made them with thinly sliced pork which should be how it is authentically made. So good. We ordered more than just the cheese katsu and they were made with different cuts of meat. Whether it was tenderloin or pork loin, the meat were so soft and tender. Love the tar tar sauce as well. The sign within the store said it was for pickup or delivery only. There were chairs for waiting customers but please do not expect a nice seated meal inside.

Amazing Katsu is a fun, pop-up style restaurant located in the Santa Clara Elite Event Center specializing in different styles of katsu. I was first introduced by attending a Yelp Elite event and was very impressed. Been back a few times since, primarily ordering the pork katsu or chicken katsu. The meal comes with miso soup, rice, katsu of your choice, potato salad and shredded cabbage salad. The katsu is always melt in your mouth tender and crispy and the sides are fresh and pair very well. My only small complaint is that the wait is usually pretty long, usually between 20 minutes to almost an hour. I highly recommend ordering ahead over the phone before heading over to pick up your food.

This place is a hidden gem, serving truly amazing katsu! It's rare to find a katsu specialty spot in the Bay Area, so I'm thrilled to have discovered my new go-to. Keep in mind, this is a pick-up-only location with no dine-in options. While it's a bit disappointing--since katsu is best enjoyed fresh and hot--I can only imagine how incredible it would taste straight from the kitchen. Hopefully, they'll offer dine-in one day! I tried the Ebi Tempura, which came with tartar sauce, and it did not disappoint. The shrimp were huge, incredibly soft, with no sign of any chewiness! The batter was light, crispy, and fried to perfection. The Cheese Katsu is another hit! The gooey mozzarella cheese is wrapped in a thin layer of pork all coated in a light & flaky batter. The katsu sauce is tangy and savory, a perfect compliment to the dish. The service was warm and friendly, and I'll definitely be coming back whenever I'm craving katsu!

This place has basically only katsu dishes. I've delivered from here multiple times now and I'll say the service is super quick and the packaging is efficient. I will say their miso soup (which comes with all the main katsu orders) is super mild and borderline bland but that was the only nitpick I had with this place. I loveeeeee cheese katsu and I think this place did it well. We also got the chicken katsu and it was yummy. The chicken was super tender and so was the thin pork in the cheese katsu. The breading was perfect -- not too thick and scratchy and not too oily. The spam katsu was a bit weird -- it was a thick slice of spam in the katsu breading. I think if the spam was pre grilled or if it was thinner it would've been better

Never tried a specialty katsu place, so I knew I had to try it. This restaurant is inside a food hall that looks like it used to be a banquet hall. They serves different a of katsus. Signature amazing katsu (3/5): This one caught be eye because I've never seen a katsu dish like this. It's pork filled with cheese and spices. Howeve I thought it was just too much different flavors that it hid the flavors of the katsu. In addition I thought the cheeses and pepper took took space from the pork in the katsu. This comes with rice and potato salad as well.

The katsu here is amazing indeed. Take-out only restaurant (pick-up or delivery). I ordered online for take-out around noon on a Friday and it was ready in ~20 mins. I got the pork loin katsu which came with rice, shredded cabbage, miso soup, katsu sauce, wasabi, and sauce for the cabbage. Miso soup was piping hot which was great! Katsu sauce was cold/refrigerated and I think I'd prefer if it were room temperature. The pork loin katsu itself was phenomenal. The batter was one of the flakiest I've had - super light with soft crunch. At first I thought 5 pieces of katsu wouldn't be enough but it ended up being very filling. The katsu was so good that I felt like it didn't even need the katsu sauce. Rice had sticky texture which I personally love. Would definitely come back in the future! I want to try the cheese katsu next time :)
